RESPONSIBILITIES

As a clinical teacher, you have an important role in strengthening competence and patient safety within Region Skåne's healthcare.

You will, among other things:

  • lead practical skills training
  • create, lead, and develop realistic simulations for students and staff
  • conduct simulations in-situ in the healthcare's own environments or in our own simulation environments
  • develop and adapt training in collaboration with healthcare providers in Skåne and Lund University
  • contribute ideas and be involved in our development work, which is currently intensive.

With us, you will have a role that combines pedagogy, clinic, and innovation, where you will have plenty of room to be creative in both thought and action.

The position is based in Helsingborg, but since we work throughout Skåne, you will need to travel regularly to other locations within the region.

Here, you will work in a unique environment where development and learning are at the center, while directly contributing to patient safety in Region Skåne. You will become part of an engaged and competent team and have good opportunities to develop within pedagogy, simulation, and leadership.

The working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale and have a good command of the English language in both spoken and written form. It is an advantage if you have a specialist education in emergency medicine, intensive care, or anesthesia, as well as pedagogical training and experience.

You should have some longer experience, preferably from emergency care and from several different specialties, with great confidence and familiarity in handling acute medical situations. An interest in pedagogy, both in large and small aspects, is valuable.

As a person, you are engaged, structured, and solution-oriented. You enjoy collaborating while also being comfortable working independently and taking your own initiatives. The ability to quickly adapt to different situations is an important part of the role. You need to be confident in leading others and yourself as the role requires you to lead individuals and groups of people who are faced with new and uncomfortable situations.
